Cooking is for me one of the most satisfying activities I could ever undertake.  With a few hours of work, patience, and care I can produce something tantalizing, delicious and healthy for my family and friends to enjoy.

I'm also intrigued by the many food related challenges experienced by our North American culture and invest many hours of time researching and learning not only about prepared food, but also where our food comes from.  I am a big proponent of eating locally produced food that has undergone only minimal processing in your own kitchen.
